Patenga Beach

How to Get There
By Bus
Chattogram City’s main transportation system consists of city buses, which are affordable compared to other vehicles. These buses are identified by numerical numbers (e.g., 1, 2, 3). For Patenga Beach, take the number 10 bus, which operates from Bahaddarhat, passing through 2 No. Gate, GEC, Wasa, Agrabad, and Freeport to Patenga. The fare is approximately 50 BDT from Bahaddarhat to Patenga.
Private buses like Sonarbangla and Metroprobati are also available and tend to be less crowded than the number 10 bus, with fares around 60 BDT (subject to variation). Air-conditioned (AC) buses are another option, starting from Bahaddarhat and heading to Patenga.
By CNG
You can hire a CNG auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Chattogram to Patenga Beach. While convenient, CNG fares are higher compared to public buses.
CRB (Chattogram Railway Building)
CRB, short for Chattogram Railway Building, is a historic site and the residential quarter for railway executives. By Bus
CRB is located near Tiger Pass. You can take buses numbered 2, 4, or 10 from Bahaddarhat, passing through 2 No. Gate, GEC, and Wasa to reach Tiger Pass and CRB. The fare ranges from 10 to 15 BDT.
DC Hill
Locally known as Cheragi Pahar, DC Hill is the official residence of the District Commissioner. Situated atop a hill and surrounded by lush greenery, it provides a peaceful environment for visitors. Beneath the hill lies a large nursery, adding to its charm. DC Hill is a popular venue for cultural programs such as Pohela Boishakh and Boshonto Utshob.

Jamboree Park
Located in the Agrabad residential area, Jamboree Park is a green oasis for the city’s residents. It features a mini artificial lake and fun activities for children, making it a great spot for families. The park is open from 6 AM to 9 AM in the morning and 5 PM to 8 PM in the evening.

By Bus
To reach Jamboree Park, take buses numbered 4 or 10 from Bahaddarhat, passing through 2 No. Gate, GEC, Wasa, and Agrabad Akhtaruzzaman Centre Point. The fare ranges from 12 to 18 BDT. From Akhtaruzzaman Centre Point, you can either walk or hire a rickshaw to the park.
War Cemetery
The War Cemetery is a historically significant site, serving as the final resting place for soldiers who fought in World War II. Funded by the UK, it is located at Golpahar More on Badshamia Road. The cemetery is open to visitors from 2 PM to 5 PM.

How to Get There
By Bus
Take the number 3 bus from Muradpur, passing through Panchlaish and Probortok Mor to reach Golpahar More and the War Cemetery. The fare is approximately 6 BDT.
